I learned a lot from Keith working with epoxy. He is a very good teacher when it comes to learning how to apply each process in preparing and pouring epoxy to get the best results. I like the hands on which gave me confidence in mixing the epoxy to coming up with techniques applied to the sample board. I also like how he shares the bidding and contracts with a customer. I'm confident that I'm able to take what I learned and apply what I learned in my own business. Thanks Keith for teaching me about epoxy.

This was by far one of the best trainings I have attended. This training was like hanging out with a friend. Personalized, hands on and thorough. It was unbelievable how fast time flew by. Sitting accross the desk from Keith you can tell how much he loves what he does. Watching him work you understand why he's so meticulous about following the steps to achieve best outcome. It was an absolute delight to learn from the best. If your looking to learn, or up your game in epoxy GO to KCDC Designs. You'll leave as an artist like me 🤔😎 Thank you Keith, Max and I consider you a friend. Im sure we will see your counsel in the future. Continued success sir.

I recently attended Keith’s 3-day epoxy countertop workshop and it was an excellent experience! Keith has a rare ability to simplify complex processes while still explaining the “why” behind them, which made the training incredibly effective. He turns something that can feel daunting into something approachable—a reflection of how down-to-earth he is. What stood out most to me was how much he truly cares about his craft and his clients. He keeps small sample boards of past designs, and when you ask about them he can recall not just the methods he used, but also the people and stories behind each one. That level of care really says a lot about who he is. Whether you work with Keith on a project or train with him, he’ll help bring your vision to life—and you’ll likely walk away with a new friend. — Max, 2 Pals Painting

After using epoxys for the last three years and enjoying how each countertop project has came out. I wanted to be better informed about the epoxy products and other types of pour techniques. I had the opportunity and pleasure of taking a three day hands-on course from Keith McGinnis @ KCDC Designs. Keith was great from his communications skills to his hands-on training. He definitely took the time to make sure you understood what he was explaining during the training. He has a very professional studio training center from the wood shop, pouring shop, to the educational center. You can definitely tell Keith cares about what he is teaching his students, and making sure they understand what they are being taught. He did a great job explaining the step-by-step process from starting the project in the wood shop to the final epoxy pour. During the three day training course, it consisted of classroom training, time in the wood shop to build the project, then on to different types of epoxy pour sample boards. Keith is very skilled and passionate about his craftsmanship in the epoxy trade. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer or explain the how & why of the answer. If you are wanting to learn more about epoxy and be able to use it, I would highly recommend taking a class with Keith at KCDC. I feel as if I have gained a new friend and someone I can call if I ever have a question. Thank you again Keith @ KCDC for everything.

Before taking the class I didn’t know anything about Epoxy except that it intimidated me and I was afraid to get started. Keith took the time to explain not only what to do but why we do it and what’ step is important and what step isn’t. (Spoiler they’re all important). I found it very interesting and learned several different techniques. It was very hands on learning. It’s not something you can get from a video. The techniques may be simple but they take a certain touch and without actually doing we wouldn’t have been able to feel how what we were doing effected how the epoxy reacted or moved. Being a smaller class he was able to take the time to answer a lot of questions as we went and that often turned into interesting discussions. Keith truly has a passion for custom counter tops and it showed with everything he showed us. Every technique we did a different sample board that we took home at the end with a brief description of how we did it. He Encouraged us to take photos and record what he was doing as he explained why. I feel like at the end of the class I made a friend and a mentor that I can call on with any epoxy questions that may come up in the future. A good resource as I continue my journey. I highly recommend this class no matter what your skill level you’ll walk away learning more.

Keith at KCDC, thank you! My first time pouring epoxy on my freshly built countertops, and I thought I knew what I was doing. Did tons of research and watched a bunch of videos, but after starting the epoxy, things I didnt think of popped up. Well, KCDC reached out to me when I was asking questions and actually had me call him to walk me through some steps! Talk about an awesome person and company! Helped me save my countertops and epoxy job. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Is that an ocean view you see? Not quite! These are my countertops, courtesy of KCDC Designs! I'd been grappling with the eyesore of our uninspired laminate countertops for years. When we were finally ready to get new countertops, I wasn't willing to settle for any old rock in the slab yard. I wanted something bold. Blue. Oceanic, even. And that's when I came across KCDC designs. From the moment I spoke with Keith, I felt confident that he could bring my vision to life. He's truly passionate about his work, and he keeps his clients at the heart of everything he does. He kept in contact with us regularly over the past two months, ensuring that we were on the same page in terms of the final product. When the day of the installation finally arrived, he and Rodger installed the new countertops swiftly and efficiently. That afternoon felt like Christmas morning. Gone was the loathsome, beige laminate! In its place are glistening, stunning blue countertops with veins of glitter, silver, and white. There was no cleanup, no debris, and they even painted our cabinets in the process! Just kidding, I had already painted my cabinets about a month earlier. I knew this project was a bit risky given how recently I painted, but Keith and Rodger were so delicate and precise, that the cabinets didn't incur a single scratch! I love the way my countertops seem to move with the daylight. Every hour brings out a new hue, and subtle details I didn't appreciate at first glance. This afternoon, I noticed that the marbling seems to cascade from our coffee machine. That level of artistry can't be manufactured. It comes from true artists like Keith. The price and process were very reasonable, and KCDC designs were a joy to work with all the while. If you want something durable, beautiful, and unique, nothing beats epoxy. And when it comes to working with epoxy, nothing beats KCDC designs!

Keith from KCDC Designs is a master of his craft. I was blown away by the range of his skill, not only in the design of his work but also in the knowledge of the industry. I was one of many epoxy specialists to join the 2025 Midwest Epoxy Summit at Keith's studio in Eagle Nebraska to collaborate with one of the best in the biz (Keith McGinnis). Keith cares about his clients and the quality of his work in a way that is inspiring and rare. He is personal, kind, knowledgable, has integrity, and is extremely passionate about what he does. Keith strives to bring his clients vision to life and I would highly recommend KCDC Designs 100 times over.

I can think of several adjectives for my experience of working with KCDC Design's owner, Keith. But I will keep it simple. Keith is a great guy and was attentive to my concerns, desires and need to match a backsplash unquie unto itself. Hence, I have a one of a kind kitchen.

KCDC Designs traveled to our dream "cabin" property under construction in West TN to collaborate with RK3 Designs. Over a 5 day period they collectively fabricated, poured epoxy and installed our master bathroom shower, tub surround and kitchen countertops. This job included over 20 gallons of epoxy. Keith, owner of KCDC Designs, never once hesitated to do anything and everything to see this job to the end and within the time frame we had. I have never seen a team that worked such long days and almost 24 hours on the pour day do it with such professionalism and determination that my husband and I were happy with the outcome. He was constantly looking over every inch to ensure the epoxy and fabrication was as perfect as it could be.. why? Because he has standards that exceed any I've ever seen. Keith offered input on the colorants we used to achieve the rustic look we wanted... and NAILED IT. He always left the decision to us never pressing us to go one way or the other. We HIGHLY recommend KCDC Designs to make your dream countertops, vanities come true. 10 STARS.
